Q: Do you have a minimum spend?

A: I work on weddings from £1,300. I only ever take on one wedding a weekend and I give all my attention to you to ensure it all runs smoothly. I offer an indepth service working on bespoke wedding projects from £2,300 for my clients - no two jobs are ever the same! I work with you to bring your brief to life with flowers and arrangements that suit you perfectly and make your day memorable and meaningful.

Q: Do we need to know the names of flowers we would like?

A: Absolutely not! That’s what we are here for! If you come to us with a vision of what you’d like for your wedding or event, we can talk about how you want the day to feel, how you want it to look and the style you want to portray. You might have a colour palette, a style idea or an image from Pinterest that you love - all this helps to build the brief. With this in mind, we can suggest the best flowers for your event and suggest the things that will be seasonal and work best to create the look and feel you’re after. Look for inspiration all around you! and bring your inspiration with you to talk about at our meeting; it’s a great way to communicate, so we can find out what you like and create your dream flowers.

Q: How much do couples spend on wedding flowers?

A: As a rough rule, the amount spent on wedding flowers is proportionate to the size and spend of the wedding. The expectation is that the spend on wedding flowers is between 10-20% of the total wedding spend. This is a good place to start as a general rule on wedding flower costs. Of course, it can be more if flowers are a particularly important part of your special day and decoration! In fact we love it when flowers are of utmost importance!

Q: What do you pay your wedding florist for?

A: When you invest in wedding flowers, you are paying for the full floristry service with Flora & Bee Flowers. The money you invest with your florist will go towards creating a design concept, flower sourcing and the skills, time and expertise to create your floral arrangements. There are hours of work that go in ahead of your flowers landing at your special event!

Q: What bridal party flowers are traditional in the UK?

A: My most regular requests for bridal party flowers include a bride’s bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes for groom, buttonholes for best men & ushers and buttonholes for the father of the bride and groom. Sometimes I also make corsages for the mother of the bride and groom. Flower girls might carry a posy of flowers, a basket of petals or a floral hoop or wand.

Q: How much notice do you need?

A: I don’t have a set amount of time for events, however, the minimum time is 2 weeks - this allows for enough time for the brief proposal to be agreed and flowers to be ordered in time.

Q: What types of payment to you accept?

A: Transfer or credit card are accepted methods of payment. Payment for event and wedding work must be settled 2 weeks before the event date.

Q: Which areas do you cover?

A: I cover Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and all over London.
